Jet A1 aviation fuel — bulk supply for qualified buyers
PetroGlobal Group supplies Jet A-1 aviation turbine fuel from 500,000 to 5,000,000 barrels per month, CIF to any safe world port or FOB at the loading terminal, with SGS/CIQ inspection and full bank-to-bank documentation on every cargo.
Prices are gross, indicative and quoted in USD. Firm pricing, discounts and commissions are confirmed in the FCO for each transaction.
What is Jet A1?
Jet A-1 is the kerosene-type turbine fuel used by commercial aviation worldwide, produced to ASTM D1655 and DEF STAN 91-091 (the AFQRJOS "Joint Checklist" combines both). Its defining properties are a minimum flash point of 38 °C and a maximum freezing point of −47 °C, which make it safe to handle and reliable at cruise altitude. Typical buyers include airlines, airport fuel farms, military and government tenders, and regional fuel distributors. We also trade Aviation Kerosene Colonial Grade 54 on the same commercial basis.
Typical specification
| Parameter | Typical limit (ASTM D1655 / DEF STAN 91-091) |
|---|---|
| Density at 15 °C | 775 – 840 kg/m³ |
| Flash point | min 38 °C |
| Freezing point | max −47 °C |
| Total sulphur | ≤ 0.30 % mass |
| Aromatics | ≤ 25 % vol |
| Smoke point | min 25 mm (or 19 mm with naphthalenes ≤ 3 %) |
The governing specification edition is fixed in the SCO/FCO; SGS or CIQ certifies each cargo at loading and the quality certificate is presented with the documents.
